Link Building Case Studies
Real Campaigns, Real Numbers
We are a link building SEO company, and these case studies show exactly how our campaigns performed. Every number below comes from a live client account, tracked from day one to the final result.
We do not publish inflated percentages or vague before and after screenshots. Each case study includes the starting point, the strategy we ran, and the actual outcome over a defined time span.

Cybersecurity SEO Case Study β π¨π¦ Michael Johnson
The Challenge
Michael Johnson's company sells threat detection software to enterprise IT buyers. Their organic traffic sat below 4,000 monthly sessions. Competitors with stronger domain authority ranked above them for terms tied directly to revenue, including endpoint threat detection software.
The Strategy
We built 128 backlinks over 12 months from publishers already trusted in security, IT, and enterprise software niches. Every placement matched the page it pointed to. A guest post on a penetration testing blog linked to a penetration testing service page, not the homepage.
We paired outreach with content built around the actual questions IT decision makers ask, including buying criteria, compliance requirements, and integration concerns.
The Results
Organic sessions for the target pages rose from 4,000 to 16,480, a 312 percent increase over 12 months. Keyword rankings for endpoint threat detection software moved from page 3 to position 4. Demo requests tied to organic traffic increased by 68 percent.
Client Feedback
Our security team gets asked about SEO by prospects now, not the other way around. This campaign put us in front of buyers earlier in their research.
Link Building Chicago Case Study β πΊπΈ Daniel Thompson
The Challenge
Daniel Thompson's home services business based in Chicago needed to rank for both national terms and Chicago specific searches. Their existing backlink profile was thin, with fewer than 40 referring domains and almost no local press coverage.
The Strategy
We combined national guest post placements with local outreach to Chicago business publications, industry associations, and local news sites covering small business and home improvement. This built topical authority nationally while strengthening local relevance for geo modified searches like their core service plus Chicago.
The Results
Referring domains grew from 40 to 92 over 8 months. Rankings for their primary local term moved into the top 3 results. Organic traffic to location specific pages increased by 164 percent.
Client Feedback
We used to rely entirely on paid ads for Chicago leads. Now organic search brings in a third of our monthly bookings.
SaaS Link Building Case Study β π¦πΊ Liam Walker
The Challenge
Liam Walker's SaaS company had strong product market fit but weak organic visibility outside branded search. Most of their traffic came from paid channels, and customer acquisition cost was rising.
The Strategy
We built links to comparison pages, integration pages, and use case pages instead of only the homepage and blog. This targeted the pages closest to a buying decision, not just the pages easiest to rank.
The Results
Organic signups increased by 227 percent over 14 months. Non branded organic traffic grew from 9,200 to 30,100 sessions per month. Customer acquisition cost from organic channels dropped by 41 percent.
Client Feedback
Our paid CAC was climbing every quarter. Organic is now our cheapest acquisition channel by a wide margin.
Why These Results Hold Up
Every link in these campaigns came from manual outreach on a real domain with real traffic. None of these numbers came from PBNs, link farms, or automated placements. That is why the rankings held after Google's core updates instead of dropping back out.
